Has the summer already ended? Nope! We can still extend the fun with the gang and meet new friends along the way. It's been a while since I tagged along with my friends. So this time, we went to Alibijaban Island, Quezon Province. It took 6 to 8 hours of land travel (depending on the traffic) from Metro Manila to San Andres Port, Quezon and 15 to 30 minutes sea travel. But the long ride is worth the wait. You will be surprised how beautiful the island is.
Originally, we went there to celebrate the birthday of our dearest friend #tikboy together with the gang (me , #kulot, #shao, #diomar, #kimcy), his office mates (#jean, #japs, and #shad). Then our organizer #pauluzz also had some guests (#narren, #gelay, #yen and #grace). Yey! We've added more friends, haha.
This is one of the best ways of relieving stress from work. The relaxing breeze of fresh air. The sound of the wave crashing at the shore. The beautiful scenery of the mountain across the sea. Even the locals there are very kind and cheerful. How I wish we had more time for a stay-cation.
One of the best spot that the island offers is the sandbar. At low-tide, the white sand pops out. You can even walk towards the shoreline where you can see the healthy mangroves maintained by their local community. We even had our lunch at a floating cottage. Yes! You read it right! A floating cottage in the sea, isn't that cool? But unfortunately, we forgot to take some photos there (sorry about that, sob)
Interesting, isn't it? Want to try this island with your family or friends? Just send a message to our friendly organizer #pauluzz and experience how fascinating this island is.
